I-Karene® is the trade name of a fresh range of styrenic thermoplastic elastomer compounds made by TGE.

Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), also known as thermoplastic rubber (TPR), are unique polymers because they possess many useful elastomeric properties of vulcanized rubber and yet can be melt processed and easily fabricated using conventional thermoplastic equipment (injection, extrusion, etc), tools, moulds and dies.

The advantages of easy processing, faster output, lower costs and recyclability all contribute to the growth of TPE in the global markets today.
